![]() In MacOS, the built in CoreAudio driver provides low latency operation, no matter what type of audio interface you are using. If you are using the speakers/headphone jack built into your computer, you may need to use something like ASIO4ALL. If you are using an external audio interface, you should have an ASIO driver installed already. In Windows, you should also make sure that you are using an ASIO or WASAPI driver for low latency operation. If your computer can handle a lower buffer size than that, set it as low as possible. A buffer size less than 512 samples or ~20ms is needed to play sound without audible delay. You will find a buffer size or latency setting, either in milliseconds (ms) or samples. Go to Product Repair.If there is an audible delay between pressing a key or moving a control and hearing sound in your music software, there are a few things to check.įirst, take a look at the Audio settings in your DAW. Refer to the IC recorder manual for information regarding what software is supplied and how to reinstall it. NOTE: It may also be necessary to reinstall any software that may have been supplied with the IC recorder. If the issue remains, try installing the USB driver again.Remove and reinstall the device drivers.After the computer restarts, reconnect the USB cable to test the connection.If the IC recorder is still not recognized by the computer, try the following:.Make sure that batteries are inserted in the IC recorder prior to connecting to the computer.Using a USB hub connection may cause the recorder to not be recognized properly by the computer. Connect the USB cable directly to a USB port on the computer.In this case, connecting to a different port may solve the problem. Some computers have different USB controllers for each port.If your computer has multiple USB ports, try connecting to another USB port.Other USB devices may cause the recorder to not be recognized correctly. Disconnect any other USB devices (except for a mouse and keyboard) from the computer.To resolve this issue, connect the IC recorder to a USB port on the rear of the computer. NOTE: The computer may not recognize the IC recorder if it is connected to a front USB port on the computer.
